Somatic Bodywork
Somatic Bodywork is a body-oriented coaching method that teaches you to consciously perceive feelings, patterns, and stress reactions through your body. Religion, sexuality, and origin play no role in this process.
Through the interplay of breathing techniques, targeted touch (bodywork/touch techniques), and the mindful description of bodily symptoms in a non-judgmental space, we bring you back to your capacity for agency and action:
Regaining Control: Through conscious perception and acceptance, you access your inner steering ability. You learn the balance between deliberate letting go, where control is unnecessary, and conscious steering, where it is needed.
Dealing with Emotions: You learn to give space and acceptance to your emotions—whether they are everyday or highly demanding. By perceiving your body without judgment (e.g., tightness in the chest), you learn techniques (e.g., breathing) to create physical and emotional space. The space you create within your body thus becomes an applicable outcome for your daily life.
Inner Companioning: You become able to support yourself in moments of pain and grief. This prevents old states from unconsciously resurfacing at a later point and overwhelming you.
Strengthening Relationships: You also encounter other people with greater acceptance because you better understand how individual reactions are connected.
Your Potential:
Somatic Bodywork is based on the premise that reality can always be changed through individual action concepts. The techniques are easy to learn, part of a structured learning method, and serve as a clear sign of your self-efficacy and trust in your own being.
The method offers immense potential for self-realization—personally and professionally. We always work with what is visible and tangible in the here and now.

The success of our collaboration depends on your openness and your commitment to implementation. I encourage and support you based on the method and my experience in accompanying pain processes, which began in 2008 with my work as a registered nurse.
What happens during a session?
An individual session with me is a safe space for you and everything you bring with you. A session usually lasts 60 to 90 minutes(more infos here) and follows a clear yet individual process.
1. The Initial Consultation (Arrival)
We begin with a conversation between equals. You share where you are at right now, what is occupying your mind, or which physical sensation (e.g., stress, tightness, exhaustion) you are noticing most today. Together, we define what you would like to learn or achieve for yourself during the session.
2. Bodywork (Sensing & Experiencing)
This is the core of the session. The work usually takes place lying down on a massage table (you remain fully clothed).
Touch: Through targeted, mindful touch, I support you in directing your attention to specific areas of your body.
Breathing: We use your breath to release blockages and create more space within your body.
Description: I invite you to notice what is changing. Does it feel warm? Cold? Soft? Firm? By voicing these sensations, you learn to understand your body’s unique language.
3. Integration (Reflecting)
At the end of the session, you will have time to rest and let the experience settle. We briefly discuss how you can integrate the insights or a simple tool (such as a breathing technique) into your daily life.
